You’ve probably noticed that a bunch of guns these days are dressed with boxy black sights that say “EOTech.” Military personnel and law enforcement officers have topped their AR-15s with EOTechs for years. But it’s no longer just terrorists and thugs centered in the reticles of these high-grade holographic sights—critters are getting tagged courtesy of EOTech now, too.
To celebrate their wide-scale success, EOTech just announced a killer promotion: the Millionth Sight Giveaway.
That’s right, EOTech has manufactured more than 1 million sights that are now in the hands of grateful gunners around the world. As you know, we’re constantly offering gear giveaways and cool contests at the NAHC, but this EOTech promo is seriously unbelievable. From now through the end of the year, they’re handing out more than $250,000 worth of EOTech products.
No, you don’t just get to sign up and be lazy about this, but it’s actually fun, so hear me out. First, you need to become a fan of (“Like”) the EOTech Facebook Page. Each week, EOTech will show a new video on their Facebook page featuring the Millionth Sight at undisclosed locations throughout the world. You need to guess where the sight is located based on clues provided in each video. Watch the video, guess the location from a dropdown menu, and you’ll be eligible to win one of five EXPS3-0 sight/G33 magnifier combos for that week. Use the Facebook “Share” feature to let friends know about this opportunity each week. For every friend who enters, you’ll get an additional entry in the drawing for that week. The key here is to participate every week—not just once.
In early January of 2014, all entries will be put into a final drawing for the grand prize package, which is totally insane and includes:
- One WL1-AA LED tactical long gun light (retail value: $469)
- One X200XP handheld thermal imaging unit (retail value: $4,999)
- One M914 weapon mounted night vision system (retail value: $4,799)
- One Beamhit 190-3 Personal Marksmanship Training System (retail value: $329)
If you don’t give this a shot, you might want to consider padding your walls and buying a straightjacket.
