I do like Holly does. I only use it to get to an area I’m going to hunt. And, to get the animal out. I don’t bone the meat out like some people do. There is a lot of good meat that is lost in the field a lot of times. As far as out lawing them during hunting season goes. I don’t know if that would be the answer. They would still be able to tear the land up during the off season. And, if the dirt bags don’t use any consideration for others or the law during the off season. What’s going to make them pay attention to them being banned during the hunting season? That type of people are self centered. And, don’t give a damn about other people. I’ve even seen dune buggies going across country hell bent for leather instead of staying on the road. It has become a real problem during the off season too. I wish I knew what the quick fix would be to stop the idiocy. A majority of the time. It’s the guys that are on two wheel drive atv’s that are being so irresponsible. I’m not saying that people on 4×4′s are being angels. For the most part. The majority of them do what is expected of them. There are a few exceptions though. It’s like the old saying goes. It’s the few who ruin it for the rest of the people. I, like you. Am passionate about hunting. I didn’t realize how much until we moved here. In order to do any hunting until recently. I was having to drive to Arizona. I did my first hunt here since we’ve been here about a month ago after being here for 4 years. It was tearing me up not being able to go out any time I wanted to to hunt like I was able to back home in Tucson. Or, just plain do some shooting at the range. The range that is closest to me has a closed enrollment for now. From what they have told me. I should be able become a member in the next 12 months. For the skeet and trap range. It works pretty well. The rest of the range wasn’t very impressive as far as the people I saw there. The ranges that I’ve seen so far only go out to 100 yards. I’m used to ranges the stretch to 200 to 500 yards. We have one off the side that goes to 1000 yards. With a cowboy action range at the same facility just outside of Tucson. I almost forgot the pistol range there too.
