OK, they trashed all of the old forums. No one will go to the archives to read or respond to any of them and we know it. New Yorkers need to stay on top of the Albany fools and their useless gun laws. We also need to bring back the “Taxed To Death Tavern” for the third time. Don’t let all of the topics die or fade away.

Wow I see a lot has changed on NAHC. whole new format which not really sure I like. just thought I would stop in and see what is going in NY forum. See a couple of faces I seen on old NY forum. How you been Eddie and Bob. That really stinks Bob about your lease. That wouldn’t be the place up in Delaware county on top of the mountain bordering the NYC property and the other hunting camp property would it.October 7, 2013 at 6:19 pm #5833
Hey, mind if I jump in here. Brand new to NAH and hail from the Finger Lakes Region (not far enough away from Albany). I’m strictly Bow Hunt and just enlisted my 14 year old grandson into hunting, so I’m having more fun than ever with my new hunting buddy. It’s great to see him so amped-up about hunting. Sat. AM he encountered his first sightings armed with his PSE. Had a doe in front of him, but she made him and was on high alert when he pulled back to draw. She scooted and he let down and told me after, his feelings. He felt the rush big time. Said he couldn’t hold the bow steady and his heart was in his mouth. Gotta love it. Very proud of his decision there. He’s hooked. Nice to meet you all.

Great to hear about your grandson experience and good decision Signman. Keep him after it and hopefully it pays off. I am from the Finger lakes area as well.Marion,NY. Good hunting all!October 9, 2013 at 8:43 pm #5993
Thanks grood, We’re not too far away. From Fishers, near Mendon. I’m working on getting him a Mission Craze for his upcoming birthday this month. He’s a rather small 14 year old pulling about 43# or so. The PSE is old and somewhat inconsistent. If anyone has or knows about the Craze, I’d like to hear their thoughts. It look like a bow that he can grow into for quite some time.October 16, 2013 at 1:25 pm #6971

Signman, Glad your grandson enjoyed his time bow hunting. I am near Manchester, great areas but lost the lease I was hunting on. At least there is plenty of good state land around. I am sure he will love his new bow. Keep the tradition going!January 5, 2014 at 8:16 am #11124
Yep, more changes to the forums again? Hi Bob! Sorry to hear about the lease bud, where ya staying these days? Welcome newbies!
I hear the Mission Craze is an awesome bow that a kid can grow into right up to legal hunting poundage as an adult. Talk about a bow that pays for itself.
