Like I said social guy, today I am on a different operating system than at home. So I was able to download the whole page and logon. What I saw yesterday was a download for Windows 8, it was not free. Looked all over the page and saw nothing, nowhere to download an upgrade or new browser. I did go to MS and downloaded the upgrade for my explorer there, didn’t help. You have more than a few problems, and change always bring complaints but dang, it seems you compounded the problem. Without the new browser, and no clear path to download it many will just give up. And I may not be able to get on tomorrow, at home, if not and without a whole lot of problems I may do the same.September 25, 2013 at 6:28 pm #4752
CK, have you looked into downloading FireFox? It’s a free download, and my GoTo browser. I’ve never used IE on my lap top, and have been using the lap top almost exclusively for about two years now.September 25, 2013 at 8:57 pm #4767
I would like the indicator that you have read a post enabled. It made navigating forums much quicker.
I would also appreciate it if “Home › Forums › Questions” was at the bottom of the page as well as the top as it is now.September 26, 2013 at 2:11 pm #4846
I say that in the process of making it “prettier”, you made it more difficult to use. I will get used to the changes but why? The new background pictures are nice but they don’t help anything else and place an extra load on the computer, particularly those which are a little older-like mine.September 27, 2013 at 3:37 pm #4998
The term “Roll out” should actually be “roll over”. That’s what it feels like. Web site launch sounds good. Launching it somewhere is a great idea. Why don’t you send all of the IT people, that are not needed to restore the old site, home. This little exercise in stupidity went too far on the first day. I still have two years on my current renewal. I wish I could get that money back.September 28, 2013 at 7:08 am #5030
Hey thanks for the advanced warning you were going to screw everything up! Thanks for losing every single damn post I made, thanks for making me re-register! One of the things I liked the most before was I could click MY FORUMS and see the threads I was actually interested in! Thanks for giving me reason to ponder if I should cancel my membership! I do not remember anyone in the organization asking any of the members if we wanted any change and if we did, just what we would like changed. I am also certain I never clicked the “Make it purdy, slow as hell and lose everything I like about the site” option!September 28, 2013 at 8:09 am #5040
This new site format does suck big time!! Why do I have to input all my info(name, address, phone ,internet, password)everytime I try to log in or enter contests?September 28, 2013 at 8:38 am #5043
What happened to the Poll question? Is it gone, or have I just not found it yet? Do not ask me why, but I miss it.
Still Hoping for Improvement. . .September 28, 2013 at 12:09 pm #5056
Something else that’s gone, at least for me. Used to mouse over a thread title and get a hint of what it was about without opening it. Not any more.September 28, 2013 at 12:37 pm #5057
I had to re-create my log in info (which I shouldn’t have to do as a paying member) and now I cannot link my new log in with my membership because I cannot view the menus. ALL the new menus are “hover over” menus that I cant work because I have to scroll the screen to read it and then the menu closes.
I do not have a “real” computer, just a netbook (1024×600 max resolution) and now I cannot participate in my normal club activities.
I cant afford to buy another computer just to view your new website!!!!! this is an outrage !!!
I was considering life membership because I enjoy the club, the magazine and all that entails but now I’m considering asking for my money back…..
FIX THIS!!! we are not all 26 year olds with 30 inch Apple Monitors.October 2, 2013 at 12:44 pm #5382

Any progress on such tasks such as hmmm maybe restoring post counts, old posts, groups were in that are gone now, friend list, easier way to see WTF you posted here, you know the damn things than make an online forum enjoyable and not a damn task to even visit. Or was that the plan? get our $ and drive off most of the online traffic so you don’t have to spend as much on the website? Great way to increase the profit margin!October 8, 2013 at 5:37 am #5847
this site is slow as h*ll,very confusing,i can’t navigate to save my a##. it’s like………a real pain to do anything.i might get to like it…….but damn……..this sucks.in my opinon the old site worked….this one…not so much…PLEASE GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAY!!!!!!!!!!October 8, 2013 at 8:44 pm #5907
Much much slower than before.
Trying to use the back key it takes multipe clicks, wears my finger out, and checking the history it looks like everything tagged with face book cross domain messaging helper. Whatever that is.
Searching the achives doesn’t work, at least not for me.
I even searched a post that was listed on the screen, the search found nothing.
All my searches found nothing.
So far not impressed.
Its like a ghost town on this site.
Most post are here and most seem to be complaints.October 9, 2013 at 4:46 pm #5971
I too am severely disappointed with the new format. My morning eggs and toast were ready before the site loaded to this page!
Agree, lost all prior threads of personal interest. Can’t spend all day searching page to locate old data. Feel the way I did when the hard drive crashed on my first computer.
Face it, we’ll just have to build it from scratch again.
