If you’re a bowhunter or long-range rifle shooter, you’re playing a precision game. Inches of aim can mean the literal difference between life and death—that is, for your quarry. That’s why laser rangefinders have become almost as critical as a reliable pair of boots. And whether you’re carrying a stick and string or a fire stick, the outcome of a hunt often boils down to seconds. If you want the fastest rangefinder on the market, Bushnell claims to have it with their new G-Force DX.
I had the opportunity to test the G-Force DX in Missouri a couple of months ago. It was incredible. The only reason I haven’t spouted off about it until now is because Bushnell forced me to zip my lips until they officially unveiled it this week at the ATA Show. I can’t tell you for sure if it’s currently the world’s fastest rangefinder—all I can say is that it’s so fast, I don’t think my brain could keep up with anything faster. While testing it, I ranged targets from spitting distance out to 1,000 yards. The readings were instant.
But, as you’d guess, the G-Force DX isn’t just built for speed. As you’ll see in this video, there are a ridiculous number of features integrated into this compact, lightweight unit.
Stay tuned for full specs and purchase information to appear at Bushnell.com in the coming weeks.
